Performances

Every two years we present our own professional show, involving all our dancers in fully choreographed routines, and with complete stage production, sound and lighting.

In 2006 we presented 'All Around the World' and in 2008 'Celtic on Broadway', A fusion of Irish Dance and your favourite broadway shows.

The Doyle Academy dancers are available for special functions and performances. We have a dance troupe comprising Auckland and New Zealand Champions, performing both traditional and ‘Riverdance’/'Lord of the Dance' type routines.

Over the past few years, the Doyle dancers have performed at the 2006 Dance for Life concert, the Labour Party’s 90th Birthday, the Auckland Parent & Child Expo and the 2007 official opening of Auckland's Vector Arena. We have also performed with the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra (2008 Summer Pop Series), the Celtic Grooves, at several St. Patrick’s Day Festivals, as extras on TV3's 'Outrageous Fortune', as contestants on Prime TV's 'NZ's Got Talent' and featured on TV3's Pacific Beat Street.

Our teachers are also available for introductory lessons within primary and secondary schools for dance or physical education.  We can also cater to corporate events with Irish Dance providing a great activity for team bonding or for something a little different!
