Celtic on Broadway!

This Saturday our dancers take to the stage at Baradene College to present 'Celtic on Broadway'.

Doors will open 30 minutes before curtain call for guests to enjoy a drink and nibble.

Door sales will also be available.

Seating is general admission and parking will be available at all entry gates to Baradene College along Victoria Avenue.

The Doyle Academy is proud to support Ronald McDonald House Auckland through a donation from ticket sales.

As our students gear up towards our 2008 Christmas Show you can see them performing around Auckland promoting the Show and selling tickets:

Sunday November 2nd - Parent & Child Show, Auckland Show Grounds, Greenlane. 2.00pm - 2.30pm

Saturday November 8th - 1.00pm The Glendowie Primary School Gala. 7.30pm The Clevedon Church Hall Fundraiser.

Saturday 15th November - Alfriston School Gala 3.30pm

Friday 21st November - Private Function Booking

Saturday 22nd November - Ronald McDonald House Auckland at Starship Hospital 6.30pm

Sunday 23rd November - Botany Downs Concert Stage 11am - 2pm

Sunday 7th December - Manurewa Comsopolitan Club Children's Christmas Party 11.15am - 12pm. Auckland Irish Society Senior Citizens Party, 3.00pm - 3.30pm

Saturday 13th December - 2008 Christmas Show - Celtic on Broadway, Baradene College, Remuera.

Success at the New Zealand Championships!

Well done to our 29 dancers who competed last week at the NZ Champs hosted in Christchurch.

The Academy won a total of 5 Solo titles, 4 Team titles and 8 World Championships Qualifications!

Success at the Auckland Championships!

An outstanding result saw the Academy gain a record 5 Solo titles and 8 Team titles at the Auckland Championships this past weekend!

Congratulations to;

Ceara Walshe, Under 9 Girls Champion

Liam Mooney, Under 9 Boys Champion

Ashleigh John, Under 16 Girls Champion

Chris Hodgson, Over 17 Mens Champion

Jessica Mack, Over 19 Ladies Champion

Team Titles:

Under 9 Three Hand, Four Hands, Six Hand

9-13 Six Hand and Eight Hand

Over 13 Four Hands

The Academy also achieved two solo 2nd places and four 3rd places, plus six 2nd places and two 3rd places in the team events.
